An unknown Hungarian Warrant officer at the photographers studio with his wife. Many of these type of photographs were made before the departure to the front or faraway service.
Many of the soldiers never returned and the photographs ended up in the albums and memories of the people at home. 
Many of the photographs, like this one, ends up in collections all over and very few traces can lead to the persons being identified and their stories being told. 
One way may be that someone viewing this blog might recognize the persons as some old family-member. 

The Hungarian Warrant officer on the photograph is wearing the 1938 Return of the northern territories (Felvidék) remembrance medal and the 1940 Return of Transylvania (Erdély) remembrance medal.
