I have made some digital colourizations for this page. For this, I used the latest and most advanced photo editing programs for the best result. But colourization of black and white photographs is not really any new thing. I have in my collection a few original hand-coloured photographs from about the time they where taken. Some times the photographer himself offered this additional service, sometimes they where made by the families of the person on the photograph.

The details and the correct colour is not always correct on these photographs. Here the NCO (Sergeant) got the gold buttons for the officers instead of the correct silver ones. The ribbon bar is also purely a guess, by the person doing the colourization work.

The Légoltalmi Liga was the civil air-defence in Hungary during the inter-war period and WW2.
This is the membership button-hole badge of the Légoltalmi Liga.
