My car and my friends!

On 10 December 2015, I published the first photograph of this unknown Hungarian soldier proudly posing beside his car. Here is the second image in the series, showing the same soldier together with a group of his friends in another "pose-in-front-of-the-car" photograph.

The series offers a charming glimpse into the everyday life of Hungarian soldiers, capturing informal moments that were never intended as official military records. Like many privately taken photographs, these images preserve friendships, shared experiences, and the pride soldiers often took in their vehicles and the simple pleasures of military life.

Together, the photographs form a delightful series that reminds us history is not only found in battles and official ceremonies, but also in the ordinary moments shared between friends—moments that have survived thanks to a camera and a roll of film.
