Field uniform of a Hungarian First Lieutenant, displaying the 1940 Return of Transylvania Commemorative Medal and the 1941 Return of Délvidék (Southern Hungary) Commemorative Medal. These decorations indicate the officer's participation in, or service connected with, two of the most significant territorial changes in Hungary during the early years of the Second World War.

The Return of Transylvania Medal commemorated the reoccupation of Northern Transylvania following the Second Vienna Award in 1940, while the Return of Délvidék Medal recognized participation in the 1941 reoccupation of the Southern Territories.
